bedroom blues...

Lately the bedroom has just not been doing it for me. I don't know if it is the creaky old mattress or the lack of sleep from almost entering my 3rd trimester (!!!) but it is seriously lacking something for me.  The walls are a tanish brown (Wilmington Tan to be exact - I love when I can remember a fun paint color) and below is our bedding.  I love the paisley and the colors. But it needs something. Some pop somewhere...I love mixing patterns but I think this one is overtaking me and I don't know what to do.  I need to bring in something. But what?

 I love purple in a room. Reminds me of my college bedroom.

I know this blog is being taken over by baby stuff. So difficult not to, it consumes me these days!  

So in other worldly news, my dear friend Heather showed me this amazing video on Saturday and we tried it on her hair - and it came out great!  I highly recommend for those long haired locks...Makes me wish I hadn't chopped mine off! And I just love this chicks accent. Where does YT find these people? Gooo Sock Bun!

Please go. Run and check out the latest issue from House of Fifty.  I have no idea what the title of the magazine is about.  But there were more articles that I enjoyed in that mag than I have read in a while.  Seriously helpful things about curtains and entertaining and decorating from scratch.  I ain't gonna lie to ya.
