Just scooped up these cute duds on DUE Maternity.  *Where I found my dress for Bro's wedding* They are having a great sale going on with 50% off some great necessities.

Our little guy is going to be one dapper fella if I have anything to do with it.

I really want one of those blue ones for me.  How comfy does that thing look?

This one worked much better, thank you.  Although I can barely get the ties to go around to the back of me so good for her for being able to loop it around a few times. I must have really wanted a purple dress. But I will not be going with a purple shoe. by then I will probably be in a wheel chair due to my size and other ailments.  Hopefully the power of positive thinking will come around soon....

Well. THIS was NOT it. so the search continues...

In the meantime the hubs and I are going on a little getaway to Asheville.  For some eating, shopping, eating.  I am so looking forward to going.

So in case you were not aware my sweet brother is getting married around the end of October. I will be a blessed 37 weeks. Pregnant.  I hope to be able to walk much less ANYTHING else by that time.  His darling fiance understood when I bowed out of my bridesmaid duties.  Of course that leaves me with trying to find a dress that is:

a. attractive
b. fits
3. isn't a lotta cash because hopefully I won't be wearing this again anytime soon
d. is just a nice dress and doesn't scream I'm about to pop open at any moment

So I found this one.

Hopefully it will suit me okay.  fingers crossed. I will let you know how it turns out. the bump is definitely bigger than her's up there....

just a few things I miss around here....

Yesterday we got a Lands End catalog in the mail.  Specifically their Canvas goodies.  Reminded me how much I love fall- with plaid button downs and cardigans and cute jeans (that button)....6 months of this is so overrated.  Once the bub starts kicking and moving, I think he's ready to come on out.  (I have no patience, can you tell?)  These were just a few that caught my eye. Maybe next fall?

Labor day weekend is upon us and we are heading down to our beloved Wrightsville to see friends and their babies and relax in the sun. Here's to hoping everyone will stay at school/Charlotte for the football games and the beach will be nice and quiet. (Here's to hoping)
